Job Description

This position’s focus is generating new sales, servicing current clients, and providing training services.

Responsibilities

Promote and sell memberships, training programs and other services
Organize and participate in regular community outreach events
Conduct fitness consultations and Check Ins to ensure the member’s goals are registered
Motivate and train members in a semi-private training environment
Match Anytime Fitness personal training programs - in conjunction with the PT’s expertise - with the member’s goals and abilities
Track, monitor and report each member’s progress towards goals – follow up with emails and phone calls
Daily time on the fitness floor – anticipate members’ needs, be surprisingly personable, proactively market club programs and events, do miscellaneous cleaning and pick up

Qualifications

Experience in sales and client service. Current CPR, AED and personal training certification(s) are required as is a current nationally recognized certification such as NASM or ACE. Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals. Desire to continually learn new principles in the fitness industry. As a team member with Anytime Fitness (Omaha Area) you will have access to:

Robust compensation plan for membership sales, training sales, and training sessions rendered (large training packages are common)
The compensation package includes guaranteed administrative time plus commissions based on various performance metrics

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Personal Training: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Certified Personal Trainer (Preferred)
AED Certification (Preferred)
