BRX Performance is seeking a skilled Baseball Performance Specialist-Sports Performance Coach to join our team. As a Sports Performance Coach with BRXPerformance, you'll work with elite professional and collegiate baseball players. You will oversee the development, planning, and execution of high-level baseball-specific training programs to enhance the players' capabilities. You will work closely with the athletes, assessing their strengths and weaknesses, creating appropriate exercise regimens that focus on building their performance and working collaboratively to assist the development of their mental and analytical skills.

BRX Performance works with several MLB and minor league players, providing them with individualized training programs to achieve their goals. Our approach to training is based on a scientific, evidence-based model that emphasizes customization to meet the specific needs of the athlete. We take pride in our fun and collaborative work environment, where we encourage staff to collaborate and work together towards benefiting the athletes and their bodies. Our proven track record of success includes players such as Ben Heller, who improved his fastball from 92-94mph to 96-99mph and made his MLB debut on August 26th.

Responsibilities

Create and oversee individualized baseball-specific training programs for baseball athletes 13 years and older
Work closely with Athletes, assessing their strengths, creating goals, and designing customized development programs
Monitor athlete's progress through daily logs, analyzing and adjusting training programs as needed to maintain and improve their performance
Work with Athletes, Coaches, and Staff to ensure they understand their individualized program and its expected outcomes
Ability to use performance data and assessment data to motivate athletes and keep them engaged
Advise, educate, and consult with athletes on the importance of nutrition and proper recovery methods

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
NSCA, CSCS, or other performance enhancement professional certification
ATC or related healthcare certification
At least 2 years of experience designing and implementing baseball-specific performance training programs
Maintaining knowledge of current research, methodology and trends in sports performance
Demonstrated ability to create, scale, and adjust training programs based on individual performance goals
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
