We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, positive individual who loves working with kids to be our Skills Trainer starting on Sept. 15. Skills Trainer must possess great leadership and knowledge of basketball skills and games. Skills Trainers are responsible for preparing lesson plan for their sessions and also must be available for tournaments. The gym will mainly in south Edmonton. Basketball sessions are Mondays - Fridays between 5pm - 9pm. If you are looking to gain experience, please email your resume. This is a paid position. $15-$25 per session based on experience. Duties:

- Plan and lead basketball practices and games

- Teach fundamental basketball skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense

- Develop individualized training programs for players

- Monitor player progress and provide feedback for improvement

- Manage team behavior and enforce rules

- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a positive team environment

Skills:

- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with players, parents, and staff

- Experience working with students in a coaching or teaching role

- Knowledge of basketball rules and strategies

- Strong behavior management skills

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4-12 per week

Salary: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
