We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic, skilled, and inspiring personal trainer to join our team. We are Sylvan Lake's premier strength and conditioning facility with a mission to provide each of our members with the knowledge and support necessary to break physical barriers and reach new heights. As a personal trainer, you will meet with prospective members to discuss their fitness goals, perform onboarding assessments, develop unique and personalized exercise programs, train and encourage members throughout their workout while ensuring proper form and safety, and carry out additional tasks listed below. Furthermore, if you are a personal trainer that already has an established client base and is looking for a facility to use, we are open to this possibility as well! Personal Trainer Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate client health and fitness levels.
Create an exercise plan for clients.
Monitor clients through strength training session, ensuring proper form and safety.
Chart and track client progress.
Adjust client personalized training programs as needed.
Check-in clients before their training session and provide prospective clients with information on Uplift Strength Center's memberships and services.
Help maintain the cleanliness of our facility by cleaning common surfaces and fitness equipment between each client.
Assist with social media posts and monthly newsletters.

Personal Trainer Requirements and Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent.
Professional and Accredited Personal Trainer certification required (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or NSCA).
Personal training experience (required).
Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science (not required but preferred).
Office experience and digital marketing experience are a plus.
Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Must be able to give clear instruction, proper exercise, modification, and challenge clients to achieve their fitness and health goals.
Positive attitude, energetic, and highly motivated.
A dedication to maintaining personal integrity, client confidentiality, and professional standards for best practice.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekday and Saturday mornings.
