Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Fitness, the Fitness Experience Manager is a full-time position responsible for the quality of delivery of the various fitness products including class product delivery, high-quality member experience and coach standards consistently. In addition to this the Fitness Experience Manager will drive awareness of new and existing initiatives and products across the group to elevate all things fitness within the gym.
The Responsibility.
- Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness
- Ensure consistently high standards of teaching
- Monitoring and reporting group exercise engagement & instructor performance in-club
- Building effective and engaging group exercise timetables based on the club budget
- Educating team members on products and classes
- Lead group workouts and training for the team and key stakeholders from Frasers Group as required
- Recruit, train, monitor and support Everlast Gyms group exercise instructors
- Liaising with our Head of Fitness to report on performance & ensure processes and learning material is to brand standard
- Maintain the brand standards in accordance with our brand book
- Lead the effective rollout of new fitness related products
- Develop initiatives to drive exercise engagement and promote healthy lifestyles of our in-club
- Actively supporting company initiatives and communicating regularly with our community of Fitness Experience Managers
- Attend fitness product training days throughout the year to continue professional development
Qualifications
Need to have
- Passionate about fitness and exercise
- Level 2 fitness related qualification or equivalent
- Experience delivering a variety of different group exercise classes
- Excellent interpersonal skills allowing them to build great relationships with club teams and members
- Strong leadership qualities and experience managing teams
- Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role
- Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business
