Fitness Manager - Edinburgh
About the Role
This role is for 40 hours per week based at our Edinburgh Queen Street Club.
Applications are invited for a qualified Fitness Manager at one of our prestigious health clubs. The successful candidate must demonstrate a flair and passion for fitness alongside a good understanding of fitness technology and trends, hold dynamic leadership skills and fully appreciate the superb, state of the art facilities at the club. They must also be flexible and have the ability to interact positively with members as member retention initiatives are key indicators of success.
The role will include some duty management shifts. As a member of the management team you will be responsible for the well-being of staff and members, able to market the club both internally and externally, as well as develop relationships locally, establishing Bannatyne as the market leader in the area.
Industry experience will be an advantage. NVQ Level 2 fitness certificate is essential with NVQ Level 3 fitness certificate and a group exercise qualification desirable. You should have a good understanding of fitness technology and trends, have strong people development skills and excellent customer service.
