The St. James is seeking a Curriculum Development and Sight Director to join its Camps team at flagship location in Springfield, Virginia.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Developing 6 weeks of themed high-quality education and interactive programming for students K-7th enrolled in an educational summer camp.
  • Working as a liaison with school partners to properly prepare students and teachers for the summer.
  • Training incoming teachers on camp curriculum.
  • Working as the on-sight director through all 6 weeks of summer camp- managing teacher, student, and scheduling needs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MD, DC, or VA teaching credentials, experience teaching students with additional learning needs required.
  •  Master’s degree and additional endorsements in special education instruction strongly preferred. Experience working in summer camps strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working with K-7th students in a teaching capacity.
  • Start date: 10-15 hours per week beginning ASAP (flexible + work primarily from home), full-time hours (seasonal) from End of School Year to Beginning of School Year (on-sight).

Compensation:  $35+/hr.
