Member Engagement Specialist

As a Member Engagement Specialist, you help create the energy and excitement around Fitness products, providing the right solutions and getting them into a healthier way of life.  You understand that Fitness Club is dedicated to delivering a customer experience that’s unlike any other. It starts with you discovering customers’ needs. And with the support of your club team members, you match those needs with the right fitness regime for them. Every day is an opportunity for you to turn another Fitness Club visitor into a loyal Fitness customer.

In this role, you could work full-time with some mornings, nights and weekends involved.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong interest in health and fitness with the ability to learn and discuss current and existing workouts from innovative Group Fitness Classes, Rock Climbing, Squash and Children’s programming.
  • You must be able to deliver great customer experiences in any environment and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.
  • Strong communication skills that let you converse as freely and comfortably with small groups as with individual customers.

Description

As a Member Engagement Specialist, you’re highly skilled at uncovering customers’ needs, then following through with customized solutions. Not only are you the first-person customers meet when they enter the club, but you’re also the person who guides them — advising, selling, and even setting up their new memberships. You perform other roles within the club too, whether it’s helping maintain the club’s appearance or assisting team members. Always curious, you stay on top of news about products and initiatives, ready to apply your learning in customer interactions. Your success is measured by team and individual productivity as well as overall club performance. You’re proud to represent Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, and you get great satisfaction from helping customers develop relationships and achieve goals.
